Youth Athletes
Develop confidence, discipline, and emotional awareness early—building strong habits that carry through every stage of development.
Performance - Mental
Physical ability sets the foundation—but mindset determines consistency, confidence, and performance under pressure. Mental Performance Training at Grind House Sports helps athletes develop focus, resilience, emotional control, and leadership skills that translate directly to competition and life.
Note: This Mental Performance program is a separate affiliation and operates independently from our core Grind House training programs.

The Mental Performance program is led by Matt Thomann, Mental Mettle Life Coaching, helping athletes develop confidence, focus, discipline, and resilience. Matt works closely with athletes and coaches to integrate mental skills directly into training and competition environments.
Athletes face pressure—from competition, expectations, setbacks, and self‑doubt. Without the right tools, performance can fluctuate regardless of physical ability.
Mental performance training provides athletes with practical strategies to manage stress, sharpen focus, build confidence, and respond effectively in high‑pressure moments.
